Meet our best friends!

Kelsey Formalarie

Maid of Honor

Kelsey and I have been soul sisters since our freshman year at Loyola. Over the years, we've conquered the uncertainties of college, the butterflies of our first "big girl" jobs and the tears of heartbreak together. She is my first confidant, favorite dance partner, and best wardrobe consultant.

Sean David

Best Man

I met Sean in the womb. Over some small talk we realized that we had the same mother and father so we had a lot in common. We talked politics and literature until we were interrupted by some doctors and nurses. As babies and toddlers, we continued to speak about worldly issues, economics, crisis in the middle east, even though it sounded like baby talk to most people. As adults, he's still supportive even though he selfishly moved away to some small city. We still see each other a lot throughout the year, with the help of his color-coded spreadsheets because FUN TIME NEEDS TO BE PLANNED. Just kidding, Sean... (*Eddie Izzard's confirm and deny routine*).. Nah forreal, JK.... (.....) But seriously, thanks for always being there to challenge me and tell me I'm not always right.

Anne Corey

Bridesmaid

Anne (I call her Annabelle) was my roommate for almost 5 years after we graduated from Loyola. Whether I was having a great season in life or a hard one, I frequently came home to hand written note of encouragement from her. Not to mention she taught me how important it is to change the toilet paper roll. Weekly wine nights, social kickball league, Bachelorette binges, Ravens-Redskins games... our memories are endless. I'm so grateful for her friendship.

Danny

Groomsman

'Throw them in the garbage," were Danny's first words after Sean and I were born. Eventually Danny came around and used Sean and me as scapegoats for all his childhood hijinx, in between building forts, playing video games, and constantly fighting over computer time. (Netscape on the dial-up.) He might deny it, but I helped Danny become the great programmer he is today. He graciously offered me 50% in whatever multi-billion dollar company he will inevitably own. Thanks Dan!

Elizabeth Berry

Bridesmaid

EB and I built our friendship in college over $10 bottles of cabernet and $1 cans of Progresso soup. Our infamous wine and soup nights continued after college and while our tastes may have matured to better wine and real homemade soup, our conversations remained just as rich. Also, if you need to know where the best burger in Baltimore is, EB is your girl. Ask her about Burger Club.

Jeremy

Groomsman

Jeremy and I went to JB soccer camp as young lads. He was struggling athletically, and I was excelling. He came to me desperately for help so, naturally, I lent him a hand. We both majored in Economics at UMD and even though Jeremy rigorously cheated off of me on nearly every exam, he managed to consistently score slightly higher than me. We've lived together some years later, in a townhouse off High Beam and a row home in Baltimore, where we were always model tenants, keeping the partying to a minimum. To this day, Jeremy comes to me for coaching and beer pong advice, areas in which I am happy to share my infinite wisdom.

Jessica Burgess

Bridesmaid

I have to thank Miles, our wedding officiant, for bringing Jess into my life. He did a great job marrying up :) Jess has become one of my closest friends over the years. Her joy for life and genuineness are contagious. She's in Boston but if I needed her, I know she'd drive through the night to be there for me. We've laughed our butts off playing Settlers of Catan until 4am and the girl makes a killer bloody mary.

Evan Bogle

Groomsman

Since preschool, some great times and great stories with this guy. Always drank and gambled responsibly. Taught me valuable lessons in life like never use A1 on a steak, never leave a wounded soldier (unfinished beer at a party), always use fire sauce at Taco Bell, never bank a 3-point shot, never chug a nice beer, nothing is real, and it's always fine.

Heather Sowells

Bridesmaid

I met Heather when I was 19 and we hit it off immediately. In our younger years, we spent at least once a week during the summer at a pool talking about our dream to have lots of kids and live on a cal-de-sac next door to one another. We may not be neighbors (someday!), but it sure feels we are because we talk every day. Heather is a stunning wife and a hard working mama to three beautiful babies. She's been a wealth of advice, support and much needed belly laughs for me over the year. I'm so excited to share this milestone in my life with her like we talked about so many years ago.

Tyler Davila

Groomsman

Tyler and I met in third grade and we quickly became best friends. We ran the CA skate rink on Friday night's, brought the house down at middle-school parties, and laid game on AIM chat. When we lived together in college, not a whole lot had changed. The skate rink was now the Thirsty Turtle, and the parties involved a few more people, alcohol, and refrigerators in the lawn. We also brought our shenanigans through Gatwick airport, Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, and the depths of Hyattsville. AEKDB Brother.

Claire Wear

Bridesmaid

I met Claire for the first time on her wedding day and now, eight and a half years later, she will be standing next to me on my big day! Simply put, she is one of my favorite people. From O's games and fancy dinners to wine nights in pjs, we are always laughing. And when life gets crazy, she's strong, supportive, and full of wisdom. From switching careers in her late twenties and pursuing what she really loves to being a fully present wife and mama to handsome Micah - she's a great role model for living life to the fullest.

Patrick Corbett (McDorbin)

Groomsman

Patrick "McDorbin" Corbett is another friend who frequently asks my advice on all matters coaching and soccer. We met around age five at the JB Soccer Academy, where he started asking me for help, a tradition that continued through high school in all subjects except for Chemistry. That class was Patrick's specialty. Probably my only friend that knows South Park, Jim Jeffries, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, and Dumb and Dumber quotes as well as I do. Thanks for always reminding me to let it ride, gotta double down, don't be soft, and sometimes you gotta race.

Miles Burgess

Officiant

Miles and I met my junior year of college when we pretended like we were the best RAs on campus. We solidified our friendship over $2.50 craft beer and Yahtzee at Monday night happy hour, where we helped each other through boring classes, bad relationships, and the transition to being adults. He's loyal and kind hearted. I'm so grateful that he, Jess, Michael and I have become so close. If you talk him or Jess, remind them how awesome Maryland is so they will move here! In all honesty, though, we chose him to officiate because he dresses well, and we needed someone to look good leading our wedding ceremony. Don't mess up!

Nathan Cesky

Groomsman

Even though I haven't known Nathan as long as the others, I will frequently rely on him to keep me hip with the southern gentlemen/South Carolina style. I knew he was a good guy when, in Deep Creek, we got into a philosophical discussion after a couple Moscow Mules and never had the urge to strangle each other. I'm looking forward to many more in the future, bro!

For all the days along the way
