The Proposal

We got engaged on May 10, 2025, at the place where we met – Coors Field. I was completely shocked when Dane told me to look at the scoreboard in the third inning. There it was on the jumbotron: “Cesira, will you marry me?” I couldn’t stop crying long enough to even stand up and say “yes.” Happy tears were the theme of the night, as I was whisked away for a quick engagement photoshoot with a photographer Dane had hired to blend in with the crowd. Then we headed up to the rooftop bar, where a large group of our closest friends were anxiously waiting to celebrate.
In true Rockies fashion, they lost that game 21-0 to the Padres. However, this was and will forever be my favorite baseball game I’ve ever attended...
