Do I need to rent a car, or is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, you will need to rent a car. Make a reservation online or by phone before your trip to secure a vehicle. You can compare prices and polices from different rental companies such as Alamo, Mex Rent a Car, Enterprise, or Hertz. Most rental car companies have locations at the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL)

Yes, you will need a passport to fly out of the country and enter back into the country.

What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

The average temperature in Mazamitla in December for a typical day ranges from a high of 76°F to a low of 50°F. Some would describe the temperature to be mildly cool, humid but cool. I would pack some spring time clothing for the day/fall clothing and a thick jacket for the cold nights.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be outdoors but we will have a large enclosed tent along with heaters all throughout that will be turned on once the sun goes down. Plan on bringing a jacket for comfort.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 12:00PM. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to find a parking space considering parking can be difficult around this time of year due to the tourism. Depending on where you park, you may have a 5-10 minute walk.
