FAQs

The Wedding Website of Cesar Palafox and Lorena Grajeda
Question

I wonder what to get the couple!

Answer

We like simple things. As we start a life together, we would appreciate the basics. Please check out our Target registry, or feel free to add to our Newlywed Funds jar in our registry tab -- anything is appreciated! :)

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Ceremony: St. Gall Catholic Parish, 5511 S Sawyer Ave, Chicago, IL 60629 Reception: The Barn At Hornbaker Gardens, 22937 County Rd 1140 N, Princeton, IL 61356

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Both St. Gall and The Barn have vast parking lots; no public street parking necessary. :)

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Barn is an indoor reception, with beautiful outdoor scenery for cocktail hour. Guests are more than welcome to mingle in the exterior or interior of our wedding reception.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Cesar and I are big fans of nature and greenery, thus our bridal party is filled with greens and earthy tones. Our bridal party colors are as follows: Bridesmaids & Groomsmen: Terracotta Siblings: Eucalyptus Green Parents: Olive Green Madrinas & Padrinos: Coral Pink

Question

Am I allowed to bring a +1, or my children?

Answer

As much as we would love to have every loved one at our wedding, please abide by the guest count included in your RSVP.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 5031 S. Kolin Ave, Chicago IL. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive *at least* 15 minutes earlier than our anticipated ceremony time. We would highly encourage guests to arrive at St. Gall at around 11 am.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please respect our hired videographer and photographer and stay clear of their shots, especially when taking pictures or video. We will only have 15 minutes after mass to take pictures, so please do not hog the bride and groom. There will be plenty of time for more pictures at the reception. ☺
