Isabelle and Cesar met in Geography class at the University of North Carolina. But in the end, it was basketball that brought them together. That March, the Tar Heels were gearing up for the last home game against Duke - the best rivalry in college basketball! As a senior, Izzie was lucky enough to score student tickets, while Cesar watched at home with friends. The Heels won (79-70), and all the students rushed onto Franklin Street, cheering and celebrating. Izzie ran up from the Dean Dome, and Cesar ran up from his apartment. Amid thousands of students and fans, they saw each other in the crowd. He waved at her, then held up a case of beer. Cesar and his friends had been smart enough to bring some Yuenglings with them, and they were now handing them out on the street. Izzie and her friends booked it over. Cesar's friend asked Izzie where they were going, and she said "Goodfellows!" His friend (a very good wingman) said, "So are we!" And from there, they've gone everywhere together.
