We met in class and didn't think much of it. A year later we were excited to find out we were both chosen for an internship at the same accounting firm and quickly became friends. Our friendship transcended work and before we knew it we were talking on the phone for hours, studying together, and going out to eat together. We had so much fun when we were around each other. And it just clicked! By this point we were associates at the firm and kept our relationship a secret knowing it could be chaos if things crumbled, so we took the time to make sure we were both all in before telling everyone. In September of 2022, Cesar asked my parents for their blessing, and by November we were engaged.
