We're getting married!

We technically “met” in the school hallways. I was teaching kindergarten, he was the substitute PE teacher, and for about five months we just passed each other in between classes. A quick wave here, a polite smile there — nothing more. When his time at the school was ending, one of my students wanted to give him a gift. I had no way to contact him, so I asked a coworker for his number and texted him: the gift was in the office if he wanted to pick it up. A month later, on Christmas morning, my phone buzzed. It was him. “Merry Christmas.” I remember staring at my phone, thinking, Wait… why is the PE sub texting me on Christmas? I called my friend like, “This is so random! What do I even say?” But I replied, and just like that, we were talking. Nonstop. Days turned into late-night texts, and suddenly we couldn’t stop getting to know each other. Not long after, he invited me to go go-karting with his friends. A week later, he asked me out on our first official date at Dave & Buster’s. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable. We are so excited for you to join us as we say "I do"!
