Why Traverse City Means So Much to Us
Summers on Lake Leelanau have always been the heartbeat of Morgan’s family. Growing up, she spent every summer 'Up North' with her grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles, creating memories that shaped her childhood—staying up late with her grandpa, listening to his stories, jumping in the lake, reading on the dock, and playing cards with family. Though her grandparents have since passed, Morgan and Matt still feel their presence in this special place.
Knowing how meaningful this place is to Morgan, Matt couldn’t have chosen a more perfect spot to propose. After he popped the question, they saw two swans gliding across the lake, watching over them—it felt like a sign that Morgan’s grandparents were there, blessing them and letting them know that, like the swans, they were mates for life. When it came time to choose their wedding location, there was no question.
Morgan and Matt can’t wait to share this special place with all of you as they start their forever.
