Emily grew up going to Ocean Side Oregon with her family at a very young age. Those days were doesn’t chasing the waves and hunting agates, it was because of those days that caused Emily to fall in love with the beach. In 2019 Christopher and Emily planned the first family vacation, at a beach in Oregon! They had no idea it was the same beach that Emily had grown up going to, but once the got there she realized it was the very same beach! The kids fell in love with it, the same way Emily did when she was their age and so they decided to call it “The family beach”. Christopher, Emily, Maci, and Elijah have visited that beach every year for the past 3 years. On the third year they decided to have a contest on who could find the biggest agate. The four of them spent 3 hours waiting for sunset, hunting for agates, and filling not one but two sand buckets with all their ocean treasure. The sun was about to set when Christopher yelled from across the beach with Maci, “I found it! The biggest one, you’re not gonna believe it!” When he finally made his way to Emily; who was not convinced he has truly won, he said once more “I did it, I won, I found the best one.” And he got down one one knee. Tears, yelling, clapping, and hugging all followed as Emily said yes to spending the rest of her life with her three most favorite people. C.E.M.E 💖
