we met at a Bible study, not expecting anything more than a good conversation—but God had bigger plans. What started as a simple connection quickly began to grow into something deeper. Shortly after we met, Lewis experienced a life-threatening health crisis. What began as a new friendship quickly deepened when Celisia visited him in the hospital, where, through prayers, long conversations, and a lot of faith, love began to grow. When Lewis recovered, life brought another challenge—this time, Celisia faced even greater health struggles. Through it all, they've had to consistently trust God, and in doing so, He has shown them how to truly love and support one another. Today, we're grateful to serve together in our church, continuing to grow in faith and purpose side by side. Somehow, that journey led us to Italy, where we got engaged in a moment that felt like a dream. From a Bible study, to a hospital room, to saying “yes” in another country—our story is one we could have never planned, but one we’re so grateful God is writing. And we know this is only the beginning, as we step into the future with big plans and even bigger faith.
