Celine and Michael met in 2018 when Michael was working as a cashier at Wawa and Celine was stopping in almost daily for her peppermint cold brew obsession. Somewhere between coffee runs and quick conversations at checkout, the pair quickly became the highlight of each other’s days. Celine was shy and could barely look Michael in the eyes because she thought he was so cute, while Michael always found little ways to keep the conversation going just a bit longer. What makes their story feel even sweeter is how perfectly timed it all was. Only about a week after meeting Celine, Michael quit his job at Wawa. To this day, the pair still talk about how easily they could have missed each other completely. Had Celine skipped a few coffee runs, been running late one morning, or had Michael left his job any sooner, he may have never had the chance to ask her out. Somehow, everything aligned exactly when it was supposed to. Eventually, Michael asked Celine on their first date, and fittingly, the pair grabbed milkshakes at Wawa. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the years, Celine and Michael have built a relationship rooted in love, encouragement, and growing together through every stage of life. Through nearly eight years together, the pair have continuously pushed one another to dream bigger and become the best versions of themselves. Michael supported Celine through college, while Celine has proudly supported Michael throughout his nursing school journey. Together, they’ve not only explored the world, from Mexico to Costa Rica, but have also taken on entirely new chapters side by side, including moving to new states together and creating a life that feels like home wherever they are. When they’re not traveling, trash talking over sports, or binge watching their favorite shows, Celine and Michael can usually be found grabbing late-night sweet treats, singing and dancing wildly around the house together, or taking their dog-son, Myles, to explore the neighborhood.
