Saira & Celina met on Facebook during the pandemic through a mutual friend. Celina eventually worked up the courage to send Saira a message, hoping she said the right words. Saira thankfully responded and before you know it, they went on their first date together at the Nature and Science Museum. Celina brought Saira flowers and they chatted outside with their masks on while they waited for their time slot to enter the museum. It was almost like going to a masquerade! Saira says that Celina came off as nervous and said, "that's cool" a lot throughout their date. So today they jokingly say, "that's cool!" to eachother. Afterward they stayed talking in the parking lot for hours, mask free! From then on they went on many more dates. It was a time to be creative together while planning dates around the daily changing pandemic regulations. Saira took a big step and invited Celina to meet her family on her birthday and mother's day weekend. They later began introducing their family and friends to eachother, uniting their worlds together. Saira jokes and says she fell in love with Celina's dog, Dottie, before falling in love with Celina. Celina says she has Dottie to thank for Saira. Celina & Saira later purchased a home together. As they were sitting on their new couch in their newly settled-in casita, they came across a Facebook post of a family looking to rehome a mini-poodle puppy. They instantly fell in love through the screen again and later brought home their little Ellie girl as a Easter blessing, making their family complete. Celina & Saira eloped on October 9th, 2024 and honeymooned in California to enjoy their favorite parks together; Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Warner Bros. Studio. They were also fortunate enough to catch tickets to the final playoff game of the Dodgers vs. Padres, where the Dodgers advanced to later become 2024 World Series Champs!
