We met at college in Austin, TX. (Hook 'em!) Celina was a member of a business student organization when Natalie joined a few years later. We'd see each other on campus but only really started hanging out because of our dogs. We quickly bonded over Kimbra (Celina's Siberian Husky) and Serena (Natalie's German Shepherd mix), meeting up at Zilker and going on hikes around town. The rest is history.

We were visiting Celina's family on Oahu for Christmas. It was the middle of the pandemic - not many places were open, so we were doing a lot of outdoor activities. We got home from a long hike when Natalie told Celina to help her grab something from a room in the back of the house. Opening the door, there was a candlelit dinner with roses scattered across the floor and a marquee sign with the words, "Will You Marry Me?" Natalie got down on one knee, and, of course, Celina said, "Yes."

Back on Oahu, the big day started with us catching the sunrise from Sandy Beach. With a few loved ones, we held an intimate ceremony right on the sand with the water a couple feet behind us. The tide even snuck up on us while exchanging rings, soaking the bottom of our gowns - guess you could call it the ocean's blessing. Afterwards, we took a walk along the shore and across the volcanic rocks before getting brunch with our family. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect morning to say, "I do."
