We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early so guests have time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins.
Cocktail or semi-formal attire is encouraged, with church-appropriate attire appreciated for the ceremony. Given the June weather in New Orleans, we recommend lightweight fabrics. The reception will be held indoors and well air-conditioned.
The ceremony will be held indoors, inside the church.
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on the church grounds - the ceremony in the church, followed by the reception at the Family Life Center, just a short walk away.
Yes, the ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass, which includes readings, prayers, and the Eucharist.
The ceremony will last about one hour. We understand that young children may find it challenging to sit for the full duration, so guests are welcome to step out quietly, if needed.
Yes! We welcome all guests to attend, pray, and sing during the Mass. Non-Catholic guests are invited to receive a blessing during Communion, though the Eucharist is reserved for Catholics.
We kindly ask guests to dress modestly for the ceremony and to silence cell phones while inside the church. Those receiving a blessing during Communion may approach the priest or deacon with their arms crossed across the chest (right hand on left shoulder, left hand on right shoulder).
The nearest airport is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), which is about a 45 minute drive from the church and reception venue.
Plenty of parking is available in the church parking lot. Guests can arrive without worry - everything will be easily accessible.
Yes! We have arranged room blocks at two hotels. Please review the "Travel" page of this website for more details and links to the room blocks to book rooms. Please be aware that these room blocks do have deadlines.
For our out-of-town guests, please let us know in advance if you need transportation from the airport to your hotel so we can make arrangements. While there is no formal transportation planned between the hotel and the church or reception, we will do our best to assist any guests who need help getting there.
Yes! Children are welcome. They may find it challenging to sit through the full Mass, so feel free to step out, if needed. We hope they enjoy dancing, playing, and sipping kid-friendly mocktails at the reception.
Yes! We have included a plus-one for all of our single guests. Couples and families have been invited as indicated on their invitations.
No. Guests may sit wherever they like, though the front pews at the church may be reserved for family and the wedding party, and a table may be reserved for certain reception guests.
Yes, dinner will be served buffet style. The meal will be beautifully presented, and we hope you enjoy every bite!
The meal will be completely gluten-free. While we do not have vegetarian or vegan options, we will do our best to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions-please let us know in advance. Guests with nut allergies should avoid the wedding cake due to the gluten-free flour substitutions.
Yes! Alcohol will be available, though options may be limited. The focus of the bar will be our signature mocktails, which can be turned into cocktails upon request.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to give something, we've included a couple charity options and a honeymoon fund on our registry page, but please know that gifts are entirely optional.
We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. This allows everyone to fully participate in the sacrament and ensures our photographer can capture the day beautifully without distractions. Guests are encouraged to take photos and record videos at the reception, as long as they don't interfere with the professional photographer. We would love for you to share your favorite moments from the reception with us!
Yes! Guests are welcome to share photos on social media. We kindly ask that posts be limited to friends-only settings and that discretion be used when sharing photos that include minor children.
Yes. If you need to update your RSVP, please do so as soon as possible so we can finalize catering and other arrangements.
