In November 2024, our story began in the most unexpected and perfect way. He was in town from Corpus Christi visiting my brother for a guys’ weekend, and before spending the day at a shooting range, he stopped by to say hello to the family. When I first saw him, I thought he was cute, but I never imagined he was interested. Little did I know, when he first saw me, he thought I was gorgeous. From that moment on, he began asking my brother and his friends about me, wondering if I was seeing anyone and hoping for a chance to get to know me. In the weeks that followed, on a few phone calls leading up to another guys’ weekend, my brother had him on speaker while I was around. He was being his funny, charming self, and I couldn’t help but laugh. That’s when the flirting began — playful, natural, and effortless. As we continued talking, I finally let him know that I reciprocated his feelings. Feeling brave, I decided to make the first move and sent him a funny reel on Instagram in April of 2025, opening the door to what would soon become something so special. In April of 2025, we began talking regularly on the phone, and what started as simple conversations quickly turned into hours filled with laughter, comfort, and genuine connection. With every call, our bond grew stronger, and it became clear that something truly meaningful was unfolding. By May of 2025, we finally met again in person, and from that very moment, we both knew our connection was real. What had begun unexpectedly soon blossomed into a love neither of us could deny. On July 19th, 2025, he asked me to be his girlfriend, marking the start of a beautiful chapter filled with faith, patience, and unwavering support for one another. Through it all, God has truly blessed us both with more than we ever could have imagined or prayed for in each other. Our love continued to grow deeper with each passing day. Then, on November 15th, 2025, he proposed — a moment that perfectly reflected how God’s timing is always intentional and flawless. And just like that, our forever began.
