The venue's address is included in the formal invitations. Public parking is available at McDonnell Park, down the street or you can park directly across the street at the early childhood center. Parking in the gravel lot in front of the venue is reserved for the bride/groom and our parents.
The venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at [TBD]. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the space and find a seat.
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors and guests will have to walk in the grass. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. Please be mindful that our ceremony will be at the end of August, so stay cool and hydrated.
Our dress code is Semi-formal. We want you to look and feel your best, while being able to stay cool in the August heat. This is a step above business casual, meaning no jeans or T-shirts, but you are not required to wear a tuxedo or floor-length gown.
We will be providing hand fans to help combat the heat during our outdoor ceremony, but we do suggest that guests bring water, sunglasses and sunblock so they can comfortably enjoy our ceremony.
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we would like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate children outside of the ones who have been included in the formal invitations that have gone out.
We will not be having a traditional reception following the ceremony. Instead, we will be celebrating our union with a private dinner. Those who are included in that gathering have already been notified. Thank you so much for your understanding and for celebrating this special day with us.
