Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite places in the area with you!
Table Rock Hike

Table Rock Hike

Boise, ID 83712

This was the first activity we did together in Boise! It is a great way to see the Treasure Valley and the Boise Foothills. The parking lot for the trailhead is located just next to the Old Idaho Penitentiary and the Idaho Botanical Garden, so you can check that out, too!

Downtown

Downtown

Boise, ID

There are so many places to eat, have a drink, and shop in Downtown Boise. You can't go wrong with eating anywhere on 8th street, which is right near Freak Alley, a famous outdoor mural gallery. The Saturday after our wedding, you can enjoy the Boise Farmer's Market at the Grove Plaza. If you get a chance to come back during the holidays, you can also see the Christmas Tree at Grove Plaza, pictured above!

Nature Centers and Parks

Nature Centers and Parks

Boise, ID

There is so much beautiful greenery to enjoy in Boise! The Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center is perfect for anyone wanting to see wildlife and have a nice stroll through gardens and ponds. Julia Davis Park is another great choice where you can appreciate rose gardens and maybe even live music - Noah has performed here with his siblings during the summer on several occasions! The Greenbelt is another crowd favorite, where you can bike or walk along the Boise River - there are several bridges that serve for great photo ops :)

Whitewater Rafting

Whitewater Rafting

Banks, ID

What better place than the Whitewater Rafting Capital of the USA! There are several options along the Payette River near Banks, ID. We did a half-day trip with Bear Valley Rafting Co. last summer - we highly recommend! Noah loved riding the bull :)

Wine Tasting

Caldwell, ID

There are several wineries in Treasure Valley. We have not enjoyed any personally, but it is on our bucket list. Huston Vineyards gets great reviews, and it's only 5 minutes from our venue!

Lake Lowell

Caldwell/Nampa, ID

Although we haven't had a lake day here yet, it would be easy for you to! Lake Lowell can be seen from our venue, and it is a great place to boat, swim, or fish. We hope someone can take advantage of the camping and RV grounds in the area and make the most of the lake!

For all the days along the way
