Question

Questions about cruising with Carnival?

Answer

You can check out the Carnival website here: https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/list/search/1/kw/frequently%20asked%20questions/suggested/1 Or you can call our travel agent: Yojany Mathis (210) 269-2441 Email: Yojany@rennertravel.com

Question

Do I need a Passport to cruise?

Answer

Carnival strongly recommends having a passport but it is not necessary. Please keep in mind that if something happens to you in Mexico, the boat leaves without you, then you WILL need a passport to get home. "U.S Citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same port) are able to enter the United States with a birth certificate and government-issued photo ID."

Question

Questions about Covid and Vaccines

Answer

**We have been informed that this is a vaccinated cruise** Carnival has been continuously updating and changing their policy so please follow the link below to stay informed on their policies and what you may or may not need in order to cruise with us: https://www.carnival.com/Legal/covid-19-legal-notices/covid-19-guest-protocols?icid=advisory_cruisehealth_040122

Question

Can I just go on the Carnival website and book?

Answer

No, in order to book, you will need to call our travel agent Yojany. It makes it a lot easier for us to coordinate with everyone and also be able to sit together at dinner time. **Also, if you choose NOT to book with Yojany, you will not be able to come to the wedding as both are tied together.** This is only for cruising guests, this does not apply to non-sailing guests.

Question

What if something changes and I can't come anymore?

Answer

Answer to be updated shortly.

Question

Do I still have to get you a gift?

Answer

No, of course not!!! We simply want to be surrounded by our loved ones and hope that everyone enjoys their cruise experience, seeing your enjoyment is a gift in and of itself.

Question

How will be able to communicate with each other onboard?

Answer

For a small additional fee of $5 USD per user, you can chat with your family and friends aboard the cruise throughout the duration of the cruise using the CARNIVAL HUB APP. I think we can have a group chat with up to 50 people. This will be a great way to communicate with each other because there is no free wi-fi on board. You do not need to pay for wifi in order to use the CARNIVAL HUB APP CHAT, you just need to download the app and pay $5. If you do want to order wi-fi there are 3 different connection speeds that you can order through the app. https://www.carnival.com/onboard/onboard-internet

Question

What are service gratuities?

Answer

From Carnival: It is customary for our guests to extend gratuities to the shipboard staff in appreciation for their hard work and exceptional service. 100% of your gratuities are distributed to the crew who you interact with, such as your stateroom stewards, dining and culinary staff, as well as others who work behind the scenes to enhance your overall cruise experience. You can choose to pre-pay your gratuities when you book so you don't have to worry about it while you are on the ship.
