Maid of Honor
Helen and I met at the gym and she became an integral part of my life almost immediately. She's one of the people that first made Richmond feel like home for me. Two years later, I can't imagine my life without this human ball of sunshine.
Maid of Honor
Michelle is Celeste's oldest friend! Not as in age, as in "we've been friends for so long I have no idea how we actually became friends but it was in first grade." Michelle is Celeste's favorite person to harmonize with and the person she'll always bet on to win in a martial arts fight.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and I became friends over a stray kitten and take and bake cinnamon rolls in college. Somewhere over the Thanksgivings and Easters we spent together she became more family than friend. I'm so grateful for a friend with such razor sharp wit, easy laughter, and enormous heart.
Maid of Honor
Isabelle and Celeste became friends through being paired for their sixth grade science project. It was a dope project. Thanks to Isabelle and her parents and their kitchen for the best sleepovers of all time. Sorry about the noise, Dilia & Victor...
Bridesmaid
Lauren (or Bangarang) and I met in college - I couldn't tell you exactly when or how as she just seemed to appear as a natural addition to my life. Lauren is the most caring, loyal, and goofy person I know. In all of the moves and life changes since college, Lauren has been a constant source of love, support, and laughter and I am so glad to have her standing with me.
Bridesmaid
Natalia was in Celeste's grad school cohort at GWU. Known affectionately to probably nobody but themselves as "the dream team," Celeste and Natalia have been making nachos, drinking wine and psychoanalyzing everyone and everything together since 2015.
Bridesmaid
Paige had no idea that when she wandered into the gym that Helen and I had decided to adopt her the first time we met her. Shortly after she met us, Paige agreed a trip to Nashville to celebrate our combined 30th birthday's. On that trip I realized I'd made a friend for life and an addition to our Richmond family.
Bridesmaid
Laura was in Celeste's grad school cohort too! Thanks to them for always taking care of the trio, always remembering to bring prosecco to brunch (or anytime, really), and always calling it like they see it when Celeste is getting neurotic. Laura is also parent to Valeria who is Celeste's tiniest best friend!
Bridesmaid
Christine is technically my half sister but I didn't realize that we weren't full sisters until I was about 14 (not my brightest moment). We don't get to see each other often but when we do it's always filled with late night wine chats and kitchen dance parties!
Bridesmaid
Kait is Celeste's stepsister! But at this point, it's really just sister. You can only go through so many years of someone supergluing your fingers together, giving you weird nicknames and jumping out of the closet to scare you before they're anything but family.
