Flight
Our friends traveling from outside of Belize, this is the name of our international airport that you will fly into. Our airport is really small and very easy to navigate. Welcome to Belize!!! P.S. For our drinking friends, we suggest that you buy booze at the duty-free as alcohol is a little pricey in Belize.
Flight
After arriving at the Phillip Goldson International Airport, you can get on a connecting flight and head directly to Placencia! The flight is approximately 25 minutes. If you are staying at Sirenian Bay or another resort, you can arrange for their shuttle to pick you up at the airstrip in Placencia.
Rental Car
When you exit the airport there are various car rentals in the parking lot (our airport is small so it is a 1-minute walk). Budget Auto Rental is our recommended rental company, they were kind enough to offer our guest a discounted rate of US$50.00/day rental plus insurance and tax on any model of their available rentals. When booking be sure to mention that you are a gust for the Jamal Galves and Celeshia Guy wedding in order for them to honor the discounted rate. This offer is available from one week prior to the wedding and up until one week after. However, you are free to choose any rental company of your preference. The drive to Placencia is approximately 160 miles or 3 1/2 hours. The drive is beautiful, scenic, and definitely one of our favorite drives in the country.
