Is there free valet parking?

Answer

Yes! We recommend you use the valet parking so you can comfortably enjoy the grounds (if you're early) or go to the golf carts, which will send you to the Lighthouse area for the Ceremony.

Where is the Ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place in front of the Lighthouse on the Castle Hill Inn grounds. There will be golf carts to drive you from the Castle Hill Inn front entrance to the Lighthouse. All you have to do is get yourself to the Castle Hill Inn front entrance at 590 Ocean Drive, Newport, RI 02840.

How do we get from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Reception and the Dinner Reception?

Answer

The Ceremony is at the Lighthouse, which is outside. We will have golf carts driving folks from the Castle Hill Inn entrance to the Lighthouse. After the Ceremony, the golf carts will drive folks to the Cocktail Reception, which is in a garden area near the Castle Hill Inn entrance. For anyone who needs golf cart assistance from the Cocktail Reception to the Dinner Reception, they will be available.

Is the event outside?

The ceremony and cocktail reception will be outside (weather permitting) and the dinner will be inside (in the Ocean Room).

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Basically yes! There will be an open bar (though there is a cap on what you may order, so sorry no Johnny Walker Black), up to a cap (which I doubt we will reach because we all want to remember the special night!). There is an open bar during the cocktail reception (order with any server) and during the dinner (order with your server).

I have dietary restrictions - how can I let you know?

We will circulate (and you can access here) a survey about food. https://form.jotform.com/261575858411060 When dinner starts, everyone will order with their server via our set menu (just like at a restaurant). We've described the menu in the attached survey. If none of these options work for you, please let us know.
