Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the temperature be like in Key West?

Answer

In May, temperatures in Key West typically range from daytime highs around 85°F to evening lows near 75°F. Since our event will take place in the evening, we can expect slightly cooler and more comfortable conditions

Question

When should I book travel and hotel?

Answer

As soon as possible! Key West is a very popular vacation spot.

Question

When should I arrive and how long should I stay?

Answer

We will be in Key West from Wednesday, May 13th through Saturday, May 16th to soak up all the wedding festivities—especially since our honeymoon will come a bit later! We'd be delighted to spend extra time with any guests arriving early or lingering afterward, so feel free to turn the trip into a mini vacation of your own. For our wedding party and immediate family, we kindly ask that you plan to arrive by Tuesday, May 12th to enjoy the pre-wedding festivities.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Tropical formal attire. Think elevated elegance with a tropical twist. Suits or tuxedos for gentlemen (lightweight fabrics welcome), and long dresses or dressy cocktail attire for ladies. Dress to impress, but keep comfort in mind for the warm Key West evenings.

Question

Is the Reception and Ceremony close together?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place on the same property at Casa Marina, so you won’t have to travel between locations.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please take a look at the travel page for our suggestions. There are several wonderful options in Key West.

Question

Are children welcome to attend?

Answer

We’d love for this day to be a special adults-only occasion. Thank you for your understanding.
