Our Secret "I Do"
After Theo came into our lives, the titles of "mom" and "dad" felt so beautifully permanent, and we wanted "husband" and "wife" to feel that way, too. We knew a grand wedding right away would be impossible. With family scattered and new-parent exhaustion setting in, the logistics felt like a mountain we couldn't climb. But the desire to be married, to officially seal the little family we had created, was a pull we couldn't ignore.
So, shortly after Theo's arrival, we eloped. We found a quiet spot and exchanged vows we had written ourselves, words filled with the journey we'd already traveled and the future we were so eager to begin. It was simple, intimate, and perfectly ours.
Now, we're finally ready to share our wonderful secret! We are so excited to announce that we are married. While our wedding day was a private moment, our marriage is something we want to celebrate with every single one of you.
