Our story begins with our own personal love stories with the Lord. It is only because Christ loved us first that we are able to experience love. We were high school sweethearts and we thank the Lord every day that he gave us extra time plus forever to enjoy one another because forever is simply not long enough! When did we know we found the one? (from her) We had just started talking when Robert asked me to be his date to the Winter Ball, so newly dating and about to go to a dance with the most gorgeous guy in the school was as nerve-racking as it gets! And we all know that true love emerges from High School dances ;) We were walking behind our group of friends about to go eat on the square when he pulled me away from the road and switched places so that he would be walking on the busy side. We didn't talk much this night but this small and noble action said it all! (from him) It was our first date we had and I was on my way to pick up the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen. (When you get to know Lexi, yes, she is absolutely gorgeous on the outside but she also has an amazingly pleasant heart to be around.) On the way to El Tap, we did not talk too much but I was secretly nervous and like most guys, I was trying to not “look” nervous. Once we got there we started to talk more and all of a sudden, we were talking like best friends. It was so seamless that I almost forgot that we just met about 5 days prior. When we connected like this so easily, I knew this had to be a special person in my life. After we finished eating, I took her home and as I drove back to my house I couldn’t stop thinking about how incredible she was. As soon as I got home, I was telling my family how amazing Lexi was and that night I could barely sleep because I thought about her all night long. After this date, I knew Lexi was going to be my wife one day! Our vision for this wedding is that it would be one big worship service to God who deserves all the glory!
