Are children invited?

We kindly request that our wedding remain an adults-only occasion, with teenagers 16 and up welcome. Due to the potential hazards in the gardens and our desire for a night of uninterrupted celebration, we hope you can join us in honoring this decision. Your understanding means a lot to us, and we look forward to sharing this special day with you.

What should I do if I can't make it?

We'll miss you! If you're unable to attend the wedding, please RSVP "No" at your earliest convenience so we can make the necessary arrangements. Thank you!

Can I bring someone not on the invitation?

Answer

Due to seating restrictions, catering reservations, and planning, we won't be able to accommodate additional guests. If you believe someone was inadvertently left off the invitation list, please reach out to us directly. Thank you for understanding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable and stylish. Please choose smart casual attire and include our wedding colors in your outfit. Our theme colors are wine, rose, blush pink, and rose gold. The ceremony will be outside on the grass, so please choose your shoes accordingly.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put on silent or turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we hired an amazing professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we’d hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like. However, we will be sharing our professional photos with our guests!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, there will not be an open bar at our wedding. We've chosen not to include any alcohol at our event, but we will have a delightful coffee and smoothie bar for everyone to enjoy!

Ample parking is available in the front lot of Avon Gardens for your convenience.
