Morning Hike (Very Optional)

Barbara Whipple Trail, Buena Vista, CO 81211
There will be two trail options that start and end at the same location. Both are loops that overlook our town with stunning views of the Collegiate Peaks. Easiest: Bridge to Bridge Loop This is the easiest of the two hikes. 1.9 miles and 144 feet of elevation gain. Trail details: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/bridge-to-bridge-loop--2 Moderate: North Broken Boyfriend Loop, Midland, 1450.A 3.5 miles and 500 feet of elevation gain. Trail details: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/barbara-whipple-trail-loop We advise you wear hiking shoes, but a good pair of tennis shoes is fine as well. We also suggest that you wear sunscreen and wear sun protective clothing. There is little shade on these trails. Water and Gatorade will be provided. But if you are able, please bring a large capacity water bottle (i.e. Nalgene). The trailhead is located downtown on the Arkansas River. Ample parking and restrooms are provided.

There are two Eddyline locations in Buena Vista. Please make sure to come to the Eddyline Brewery at 102 Linderman Avenue rather than the restaurant on South Main. Parking is limited so if you are staying downtown and walking is an option, please choose to walk. Dinner and drinks will be provided. Dress: Come as you are!
