What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can arrive as early as 2:00 pm and our bar opens at 2:30 pm. Ceremony begins at 3:00 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony and reception is at the same location. There is plenty of parking at Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse. Hotels in our blocked rooms are offering shuttles. Hotels are also within 5 miles of the venue so Uber/Lift is another great option.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at our wedding. However, we will have babysitting options available to family's that may so choose to enjoy the night kids free. Please reach out to Ceejay at ceejayvalenta@gmail.com by October 1st if you would need babysitting services.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have blocked rooms at four different hotels all within walking distance of one another. Currently 2 of the hotels are offering shuttle service to Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse. If you are staying at one of the four hotels and would rather not drive, we feel we can accommodate you on a shuttle. More to come.

What are COVID-19 numbers like in Arizona?

Answer

Would any of us have imagined what the last two years? We have lost many people, businesses, lifestyle challenges, jobs etc. as we work to get control over this pandemic. The arrival of the vaccine has shown some promising results of keeping COVID infections at lower rates. Arizona has administered over 6 million doses of the vaccine which has created 50% of our population fully vaccinated as of June 1st. Arizona enjoys a robust outdoor lifestyle that many feels lowers the risks of contracting COVID-19. We are hoping our extended families are ready to get back to a more “normal” life and after almost 2 years are ready to celebrate! Ceejay and PJ’s wedding is a combination of outdoor and indoor festivities. The day begins at 2pm with you arriving at Val Vista Lakes resort in Gilbert, AZ. Our bar, happy hours and ceremony will all be held outdoors. At 6pm we will head indoors for dinner and further celebrating. Arizona is open for business so we hope you can come!

What are the COVID-19 protocols at the Venue?

Answer

Val Vista Lakes has all COVID sanitation protocols in place. We will provide hand sanitizers throughout the venue and of course masks are totally up to individuals as to whether they would like to wear masks or not. Most of our immediate family have all been fully vaccinated. We know COVID-19 has been a very scary time for everyone and we certainly understand peoples fear of traveling during these times. We hope October provides more relief and we can see each other and celebrate happier times together! Cara and Deb
