We're Getting Married!

Look at me....look at..us, and I know what you're thinking, I'm sure you're wondering how we got here...well let me take you back, but where do I begin, from the VERY very beginning? Sort of in the middle? A quick summary? Well based on the feedback from the proposal speech, I won't make this too long lol. Here's a quick flashback: Cee and Gurley are at a birthday party, Cee is the DJ providing the tunes for the guests, and Gurley is one of the many couch warmers not moving an inch. She was the equivalent of the people that go to pool parties to stand around and watch people get into the pool lol. The night was perfect, people are having a good time, dancing, eating, playing games, and then out of nowhere, Gurley walks over and asks a question, and not just any question, THE question, "Hi, do you want to dance?" You see, at that moment, I was playing a kompa song, and with Gurley being the fine Haitian Queen that she is, she couldn't ignore the tingling in her spirit to get up and dance to the music. So after she felt The Spirit move her, she got up, walked over, and asked me if I wanted to dance. Now of course me being the fine Jamaican King that I am, I didn't know anything about Kompa dancing lol, so she offered to teach me right there on the spot. A little two step here, a swing your hips and turn there, and I was a master! A quick Kompa tutorial and I was the Mr. Miyagi of Kompa. But like all bottles of kremas, all good things must come to an end, and the dancing was over and I was right back to my DJ'ing and she was off to her stationary post on the couch. BUT, the seed was planted, and the watering commenced. Just like when The Holy Spirit gave her a little nudge in the back to walk up to me and ask me to dance, The Holy Spirit inspired me to hit her with a, "Heeeyyy big head :)" message a few months later on FB to say hello, and the rest was history. A conversation here, a Skype session there, a late night phone call here, and before you knew it, God added the sunshine to the seed and it sprouted into something beautiful. So here we are, ENGAGED, and about to embark on this life long journey with God at the center, but also with all of YOU to witness the special day, and it wouldn't be as special if you guys weren't here to celebrate this with us! From Gurley and I, this is our story (the beginning of it at least, I wasn't going to write seven years worth of history, but get our book whenever we write it lol and watch our podcast next year when we debut it), so at least you know how it started, and we'll definitely let you know how it's going....
