Likes so many modern love stories, ours began with a message. Two people, each living their own lives and chasing their dreams, connected online – not knowing that a simple likes or click would be the start of something extraordinary. What brought us together wasn’t just timing, luck or algorithms: it was a shared sense of curiosity, adventure, an invisible hand of a best friend (someone wifey) and a deep love for exploring the world and learning about other people culture. From the very beginning, we bonded over our mutual passion for travel, sharing stories of our favorite’s cities, our favorites dishes, bucket list destination and places that made us feel alive (aka good foods). Before long we were planning our first trip together, passports in hand and hearts wide open… Covid hit. That did not stop our determinations from doing what we share and before knowing we were on our way to adventures; through the Jungle of Santiago de Cuba that I knew through Cuban Revolution, walk the street of Paris filled with Love History and revolution, navigate the Atlantic Ocean that separate the Mother Land to America. Over the past 5 years we’ve collected more than just stamps in our passports, we’ve gathered memories, inside jokes, unforgettable meals, and love that feels both like home and grand adventure. We’ve navigated time zones and trains days, shared dreams beneath foreign stars and different continent, and realized that no matter where we are in the world, our favorites destination is each other. Now as we prepare to start this next chapter together, we invite you to celebrate with us not just our wedding day, but the journey that brought us here for the first time as Jamaica was our first travel destination.
