While this may seem like a silly question in this day and age, the short answer is "no". The venue has a strict "no cellphones" policy. This includes making calls, sending text messages, and posting to social media. There is a dedicated area for you to make calls if absolutely necessary. You are permitted to take photos, however we will have a professional photographer to capture all the special moments of the day for everyone. We kindly ask everyone to respect this policy.
Both our ceremony and reception will be at the Claremont Country Club in Oakland, CA. If you plan on taking Uber/Lyft to the ceremony, please enter the address 5295 Broadway Terrace, Oakland 94618 directly into the app. There is a Claremont Hotel also in Oakland which usually pops up in the app first.
A shuttle will be provided to and from the Waterfront Hotel. We also recommend taking Uber or Lyft. If you do use Uber/Lyft, please enter the full address in the destination (there is also a Claremont Hotel which pops up first in the search options which is not our venue)
Please note that no denim of any kind is allowed at the venue. This applies to jeans, shorts, skirts, and jean jackets. Our wedding is black tie optional. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Due to space constraints, unless your childrens' names or "and guest" are included on the inner envelope of your invitation, we kindly ask that you do not bring them.
