We both were living our lives looking for more. We never expected to find our person the most millennial way possible. We both had an app known as Tinder. Neither one of us expected anything, but Zach happened to be working in the area of Louisville Kentucky which was near my hometown. Zach came across my feed one day and I thought he was the most handsome man I have ever seen. He seemed to have the same goals as myself which was attractive. He was and still is a God fearing man, and I saw that as someone I needed in my life. So I "swiped right" on his profile which means I was interested in him never thinking I would ever be able to have a relationship with this man. A couple days went by and I had a notification that he was interested in me as well and we matched. We struck up a conversation and couldn't stop talking after that day. I knew it was fate when he was about to head home and his truck actually broke down causing him to stay a few more days in Kentucky. He decided he wanted to meet me so he asked me on a date. I was skeptical because I had heard so many stories about meeting online that didn't end well. I made sure my friend was working that night and decided to take him up on this date. We met at Cracker Barrel on September 23, 2018. I never knew this night would change my life. We talked all night. I showed him around my hometown and we continued to enjoy our time. It came time he had to head home to Mississippi and we continued to talk for the next month and a half. He convinced me to come to the military ball with him. So my mom, sister in law, and I drove down and I experienced the best night of my life. This is where I fell in love with Zachary Cook. We decided to start our relationship there and this lead to traveling to see one another for the next 7 months. Then we decided it was time for me to move down to Mississippi. Since then life has been nothing but happiness! He proposed in our home and it was the easiest yes of my life!
