Do you remember, the 21st night of September?

Well, it’s an evening Rarione & Cecil will never forget. That’s the night they met. 2019 to be exact. EARTH Imagine this: a lukewarm fall evening in ATL. Rarione had just flown in from Virginia to celebrate her birthday with friends. Cecil was heading to work at Oak Nightclub, promoting the hottest event in the city. It was just after midnight when Cecil went outside to get a few of his friends. But when he got to the cashier stand, he didn’t see them. But Rarione saw him. So she spoke up. “You kinda fine to have a bald head.” Cecil cracked a smile. “Nice teeth too.” Of all places on EARTH… Oak Nightclub. WIND Rarione only stayed the weekend. By the time Cecil reached out she was back in Charlottesville, Virgina, where she was a news anchor. Over the next few years, Rarione’s career took her to Tallahassee, then Washington, DC as a White House correspondent. Cecil remained in ATL, climbing the corporate ladder in marketing, writing books, and moonlighting as a nightclub promoter. Years passed. WIND blew. FIRE One fateful evening, one of Rarione’s Instagram story posts caught Cecil’s eye. He sent the flames, and complimented her. Crickets. “It’s okay to respond,” he typed. Hesitantly, she did, unsure if he was single. He was. And so was she. Fast forward to January 29, 2022. Rarione landed in ATL again, but this time to visit Cecil. FIRE sparked the flames. And it’s been lit ever since. On December 30, 2025, at dusk, on a picturesque beach in St. Maarten, with the waves dancing at their feet, Cecil dropped to one knee and asked Rarione for her hand in marriage. The rest is history.
