Cecilia and I met wayyyyyy back at Jack C. Jordan Middle School in 2009. After speaking on the phone a handful of times, we met during passing period and I remember it like it was yesterday. She had long curly hair and was wearing some white Nike high tops with pink and blue outlines and a blue Hollister sweater. We shared a few words and the most awkward hug ever. From that moment on she was always on my mind. We would walk to the neighborhood ice cream truck every day after school and share a raspa. It didn't take long for me to realize that she was the woman I wanted to share all my raspas with.
For our 8 year anniversary, Michael had planned a special screening of one of my favorite movies at the theatre where he worked as a manager. OR SO I THOUGHT! After enjoying a romantic dinner, we arrived at the theatre and took our seats in the back of the auditorium. To my surprise, a slideshow with pictures of some of our favorite moments begins to play. I obviously thought this was just a super romantic anniversary present until, through tear-filled eyes, I saw my extremely thoughtful boyfriend stand up then get down on one knee. The lights came up and I said YES!!!!! And, if that wasn't enough of a surprise, I turned around to see the auditorium filled with our family and friends. Needless to say, it was and will always be one of the biggest and best surprises EVER!! I can't wait to marry this man!
This will be the beginning of the biggest and best chapter of our lives together and we cannot imagine celebrating without you!!!
