Please plan to arrive by 4:00 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 and we hope all guests will be seated and comfortable well before then. If you are planning to take the shuttle from Embassy Suites, it will leave at 3:45 pm.
Yes, to and from Embassy Suites hotel. There will be one shuttle departing from Embassy Suites to the venue at 3:45 pm. Later in the night, there will be one early shuttle leaving at 8:30 pm from the venue to Embassy suites. At 10:45 pm (end of event) there will be two shuttles leaving from the venue to the Embassy suites hotel where we will have an afterparty with snacks available.
Our venue's address is 13200 Marina Way Unit 101 Woodbridge, VA 22191. There is parking available and some shuttle service from Embassy Suites. Once you arrive you'll see signage directing you inside to where the ceremony will take place. The reception is at the same location on the second floor and there is an elevator available for guests to use.
Our afternoon ceremony will be in a covered terrace, which should be protected from rain and inclement weather but subject to temperature changes. The cocktail hour and reception are indoors although the cocktail hour has an outdoor space you are welcome to enjoy if weather permits.
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with family style dinner including steak, fish, salad, and side options. Gluten free options are included in hors d'oeuvres and in the family style dinner. For vegetarian entrees, please include how many are needed with your RSVP; otherwise we may not be able to accommadate your request.
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party located at the hotel bar, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.
