If you are traveling internationally, the easiest option is to fly to Gothenburg or Oslo, then rent a car and drive. If you are traveling from Sweden or Denmark, it is possible to reach Bovallstrand by train and bus, though renting a car from a larger city is often the most convenient option.
We recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible. Bovallstrand and the surrounding villages, including Hunnebostrand, are popular summer destinations, and accommodations tend to book up quickly, especially on Airbnb.

We will provide transportation to make the day seamless. A bus and boat will take guests from the ceremony in Bovallstrand to the reception in Hunnebostrand, and later in the evening, the bus will return guests to their hotels or Bovallstrand. An optional After Party will take place in Bovallstrand for those who wish to continue the celebration.
We’d love for you to dress up with us! Think coastal disco: elegant, festive, and fun, without being overly formal. White tie or tuxedos are not expected, but we encourage a polished, celebratory look. Please note that while the main events will take place indoors, there will be outdoor moments throughout the day, including mingling and a short walk to and from the boat. We recommend bringing layers and comfortable shoes, just in case.
