What changes are being made in regards to Coronavirus?

Answer

The health and safety of our family and friends is of the utmost importance to us. Although masks are definitely not required we will be providing some if needed, or you are more than welcome to wear your own. The church has some social distancing practices in place and we are working on serving the food in the safest way possible. If you or someone you have been in close contact with is feeling ill or fevered please stay home for the safety of others. We understand that this is a deeply personal decision and are supportive of any decision that our guests make. Please contact us for any other specific questions you may have.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course! We wouldn't be where we are today without our families - kids included! We would love for them to celebrate our day with us. Just please let us know the exact number of kiddos you plan on bringing along with you on the RSVP's.

What kind of ceremony will it be?

Answer

The Catholic faith has played a huge role in our relationship. The good Lord above has blessed us with so much love an happiness we plan on celebrating with a full Catholic mass. The ceremony will be about 45 minutes to an hour, let us know if you need any special accommodations for children or the elderly.

Black tie, business casual, or jeans - come as you are or whatever you are comfortable in!

What are some other gift ideas besides your registries?

Answer

We are registered at Menards and Target. However with Cecilia finishing up her student loans, and with our recent home purchase and finishing of the basement cash is always greatly appreciated. Other gift card ideas are: Scheels, Subway, Sephora, Walmart, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, or a gift card to the local grocery store.

Where can we eat Saturday and Sunday before/after the wedding events?

Answer

Patsy's Cafe 2.0 located on Main st in Herreid under the "food" sign. This is our favorite place to go after church for a wholesome breakfast or for lunch for a filling buffet. MC Bar and Grill in Mound City is a quick 8 miles away from Herreid. They serve up juicy burgers, prime rib, and BBQ ribs that are to die for! La Cabana Mexican Restaurant: this restaurant is in Mobridge, SD but it is totally worth the drive. Amazing and very authentic Mexican food!

Where is the ceremony? Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be at St.Michael's Catholic church in Herreid, SD, one block off of main street. The reception will be held at the Community center which is right on main street - they are only a couple of blocks away, a very short walk between the two (and if you get "tired or thirsty" on your way over you can stop at the local bar, The Water Hole that is half way between the two!).

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes. There will be a full service bar with beer, wine, and liquor, and several flavors of German Wedding schnapps (Red Eye).
