What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love for our guests to dress up with us! The dress code is cocktail. We suggest a midi, knee length, or tea length dress for women, and a suit or sport coat & pants for men.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttles will depart from the Hilton Garden Inn at 5:30pm and 5:40pm. Shuttles will depart from Westwynd Gardens when the reception ends at 11pm. Please note that shuttles will not be available to/from the church for the ceremony. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted at Westwynd Gardens. We recommend parking at the hotel and taking the shuttle if you plan to leave a car overnight.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at St. Joseph by 3:45pm to find your seat before the ceremony begins.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel or planning to take the shuttle, head to the Hilton Garden after the ceremony. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the Church. We expect the ceremony to wrap up before 5pm, allowing guests time to get to the hotel and take the shuttle. If you are not staying at the hotel or using the shuttle, some of our favorite spots in Downingtown are East Branch Brewing, R Five Wines, and mother. Westwynd Gardens is a short 13 minute drive from St. Joseph Church. VK Brewing Fairway Taphouse (at Golf Zone) is also located right by the venue.

Is there an after party?

Answer

We would love for our guests to keep the party going with us and join us for drinks back at the Hilton Garden! A cash bar will be available. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted in public spaces at the hotel until after the bar closes.
