City Market
The City Market is one of our favorite spots to wander around in downtown Kansas City. It’s always one of the first places we recommend to visitors because there’s so much to see. We love chatting with local vendors, grabbing a snack, and taking our time exploring all the different stalls. It’s such a fun place to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning!
River Market Antiques
Any time we go to the City Market, we make the walk to River Market Antiques. It's four stories full of vintage items and antiques!
Country Club Plaza
The Country Club Plaza is a shopping and dining area and one of our favorite places to walk around. We love the fountains, browsing the shops, and stopping for a drink or dessert. It’s especially pretty in the evening when everything is all lit up and feels very Kansas City.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
If you’re a fan of art museums, you have to check this one out! It’s free and fun to explore.
Q39 - Midtown
KC = BBQ! Q39 is one of our go-to spots and definitely worth making a reservation.
Loose Park
Loose Park is one of our favorite places for a walk. We took our engagement photos here, so it’s a really special spot to us!
Betty Rae's Ice Cream
We LOVE Betty Rae's Ice Cream! This location is a walk up the street from the River Market!
Up-Down KC
Up-Down KC is a fun arcade bar in KC! We went here one of our first times in the city, and needless to say, we had a great time.
Percheron Rooftop Bar
Percheron is a rooftop bar in the Crossroads District! Highly recommend!
