US guests will need a valid passport to travel to the Philippines. Please remember to apply or renew in advance! A passport needs to be valid 6 months after the day of the wedding.
Festivities will begin with an informal welcome event on Wednesday, January 20, and end with the Reception on Friday, January 22. We encourage our US guests to come at least a day before the Welcome Party to acclimate to the Philippines.
Catholic wedding ceremonies are known for being long. We anticipate the ceremony will be an hour and a half. The ceremony will include a traditional mass as well as the wedding rite. The couple invites and encourages all to attend!
Yes! We have chosen ninongs and ninangs, or sponsors, to support us through our wedding and marriage. We will also incorporate traditions such as the veil and cord in our wedding ceremony.
The bride and groom request guests adhere to a semi-formal or cocktail dress code in neutral colors. As our ceremony will be held in a sacred space, we humbly ask that attire reflect the reverence of the occasion.
Plus-ones are reserved for engaged or married partners. Kindly note we are having a child-free wedding. Exceptions may be made for the wedding party only. Please check your invitations and reach out if you have questions.
The Philippines typically experiences warm weather year-round. January is considered peak dry season. Daily temperatures may average in the 70s. (Disclaimer: Please check the weather closer to the date for more accurate readings.)
Yes! We have links to all our favorite retailers in the registry tab of the website. The couple requests gifts are sent to their home in the US. Please do not bring gifts to the wedding venue.
