CAE is 15 minutes from downtown Columbia. This easy in-and-out regional airport offers loads of connections through Atlanta as well as direct flights to New York. There are car rental agencies onsite.

For those of you who want to explore more of South Carolina, flying into the Lowcountry for a few days would be a fantastic addition to your trip and only about 1.5 hours drive from Columbia. There are a number of direct flights in and out of Charleston, as well as easy connections via Atlanta.
