FAQs

Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to dress up a little, think “dressy, but not overly formal.” Great choices include dresses, chic jumpsuits, or dress pants with a nice blouse or button-up shirt. Dress shoes or stylish flats are perfect too. Please avoid jeans, shorts, sneakers, and anything super casual. One little request: the bridal party will be in green, so we ask that guests avoid wearing green as well. Think polished, comfortable, and celebration-ready!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o'clock in the evening, please arrive no later than 3:45 PM or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Will The Wedding Take Place Indoors Or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, the ceremony will be covered. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Can I Take Photos?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do", We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

When Is The RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 24th so we can finalize our guest count with the venue and vendors. We kindly ask that you respond by this date to ensure we have everything prepared. If we do not receive a response by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend. Thank you for helping us make our special day run smoothly

Question

Can I Bring My Own Adult Beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have bartending services who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Question

Where Can We Park?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot available for guests at no charge. You are welcome to leave your vehicle overnight if needed; however, all cars must be picked up by 10:00 AM the following morning. Please note that we will not be providing transportation after the reception, so guests will need to arrange their own transportation back to where they are staying. Ride-share services like Uber can be limited in this area, so we recommend planning ahead rather than relying on them for transportation.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation, this is an adult event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Where can we stay?

Answer

There are many Airbnb and vacation rental options available throughout the Brown County area for guests who prefer that option. In addition, we have reserved two hotel room blocks for our guests. Because our wedding weekend falls on Labor Day weekend and the Indiana University football home opener, the area is expected to be very busy. We strongly recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible to ensure you have a place to stay overnight.
