Question
I got two save the dates, why?
Answer
The short answer is that we are having two weddings! One wedding will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Suraj grew up, and one will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Cece grew up. The Albuquerque wedding will be a large three day, multi-event Indian wedding, whereas the Philadelphia wedding will be a smaller one day American wedding ceremony and reception. You will see there is a separate website for each wedding with specific details for each.

How should I travel to Philadelphia?
Answer
For our out of town guests, we will update our travel page to include optimal flights from ABQ and SFO. For those traveling from NYC or BOS, we recommend a train or bus. For those who are local, we will likely coordinate a bus in and out of the city. Otherwise there are many parking garages around our venues if you would like to drive in.

Where should I stay if I am traveling to Philadelphia?
Answer
We are in the process of blocking a nearby hotel's rooms for the wedding weekend. We will let our guests know when these blocks are set and available to book. If you are local, you are also welcome to stay overnight in Philadelphia, or you may drive home after the reception.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for this event will be formal/black tie optional. We highly recommend colorful and unique outfits! We will provide a webpage with outfit inspiration to help guide your selection.

What type of food and drinks can I expect?
Answer
Food is the focal point of our reception, which will be at the Redding Terminal Market. Select food vendors will stay open late for our reception, and there will be a wide variety of cuisine, including options for those with dietary restrictions and allergies. You will have the opportunity to go directly up to vendors during the reception and select your food. There will be something for everyone! There will also be an open bar, with local liquor and 35 beers on tap.

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
Yes! Your children are welcome at both of our weddings. There will be an opportunity when RSVPs are released to indicate whether or not you will be bringing you child so we can account for them properly.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The weather in Philadelphia in August will be hot and humid in the high 80s. Both our ceremony and reception venues are located inside with air conditioning.

Can I bring a plus 1?
Answer
Plus 1s are generally restricted to those in relationships, and will be indicated when you RSVP. If you have an extenuating circumstance please reach out to us and we can see if we can accommodate.
