What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to wear formal attire. This means floor length dresses and suits (no tuxedos necessary). We want our wedding to feel like a fancy garden party, so feel free to get fun with prints and pastels! Please do not wear white.

Where should I park for the wedding?

Answer

Since our wedding is on a weekday, parking may be limited, so we recommend arriving early. Should you choose to drive: for the ceremony, guests can park at Grainger Hall Garage, and the reception, guests can use the Helen C. White Garage. If you prefer, you may leave your car at Grainger Hall Garage and make the 10-minute walk between venues. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted in the garage.

Is transportation provided?

We're delighted to provide transportation support for our guests! We'll be offering Uber vouchers to help make your travel to our wedding convenient and stress-free. Each guest will receive a $15 ride credit valid on our wedding day (5/1) for rides within a 5 miles radius of the venue. To claim your voucher, simply: 1. Or open the Uber app, go to your account page, select "wallet", and add voucher code RGZSLGNZRHZ We also encourage guests to carpool and travel together to maximize fun and minimize individual transportation costs. Where can I park overnight?

Answer

For our guests staying at the Hilton - there is a parking garage reserved specifically for Hilton guests, the daily rate is $28 and allows in and out privileges. There is also the Wilson St. Garage directly across the street. For parking rules and rates please visit https://www.cityofmadison.com/parking/garages-lots/wilson-street-garage. For our guests staying at the Moxy - there is valet parking available for $46/day. Are children invited?

Answer

While we love the little ones in our life, we are keeping our wedding day an adults only celebration, with the exception of immediate family. Our welcome party, however will be open to all ages!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you receive a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Simply put, no. We want you present with us, and are hiring a very talented photographer to make sure every moment is captured. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take pictures and videos during the reception.

What should I do during the two hour break between the end of the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

If you do not wish to return home or to your hotel, here are some nearby favorites of ours: Leopold's Books Bar Caffe: Where we went right after getting engaged! Madison Memorial Union: Right across the street from where cocktail hour will be, enjoy a brew with a view! State Street Brats: In case you need something to hold you over until cocktail hour.
