If you’re concerned about making it to the ceremony on time, the Fairfield in Crete is the closet accommodation, just 16 minutes from the church. While Crete doesn’t have a lot to offer in terms of food and entertainment, it’s a 30ish minute drive to downtown Lincoln. Crete is also the home of Doane University, Nebraska’s oldest private university.
