Travel Note

The Venues

Our ceremony will take place at St Andrew's Church, RAF Henlow, followed by a reception just a short drive away at Mount Pleasant View in Lower Stondon. The two venues are less than 2 miles apart, which is approximately a 5-minute drive. Because the ceremony is located on an RAF base, please allow a little extra time for arrival to ensure a smooth entry through the station gates.

Parking

At the Church: Parking is available nearby within the RAF Henlow grounds. Please bring photo ID with you as we will need to book you on prior to arriving. The side gate to the base which is located on Oldfield farm road (just off Hitchin road) will be open for the event. This is to prevent build up of traffic going through the main entry to the base. At the Reception: Mount Pleasant View has on-site parking for those driving. Vehicles can be left in the car park over night if you choose so. However, the gates will close overnight and you will not be able to retrieve your vehicle until it opens on Sunday morning ~0830.

If you aren't driving, we recommend booking your return journey an hour or two before leaving the event for midnight.
