A lifetime starts here!

Ceaydeyan and Demong met at her first job, Food Lion, when they were just 16 and 19, still figuring life out and not expecting anything serious. Even though the two did not work side by side, their paths crossed through a mutual friend. From the beginning, they noticed each other, exchanged short glances and small smiles. Demong was the one who spoke first, with the opening line: “Do you want a piece of gum?” Ceaydeyan, completely unimpressed, declined, not knowing she was turning down her future husband over a stick of gum. At first, she wasn’t interested in Demong, but over the next month, small conversations slowly grew into a real connection. On November 2, 2021, Demong asked Ceaydeyan to be his girlfriend, this date also happened to be his grandma’s birthday. So while celebrating another year of life, they were also beginning a new chapter that gave this day meaning for more than one reason. 3 years and 6 months later, with no big crowd and no elaborate plan, just a moment filled with love. Demong got down on one knee and asked Ceaydeyan to spend forever with him. What seemed like an ordinary moment became one they would cherish for a lifetime.
