Which hotel should I book with during your wedding?
Answer
We have reserved a hotel block at the Fairfield by Marriott Edmonton International Airport. Please see our Travel page for more details.

Where is the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be held at Sparrow Lane Weddings & Events.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We want everyone to come dressed in their best! The dress code for our wedding will be Semi-Formal Attire, we suggest men wear a suit, and women wear an evening gown or cocktail dress.

Is the ceremony outside?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony will take place outside, we ask that you come prepared with outerwear suitable for December weather in Alberta. We will have blankets to help you stay warm!

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM. We ask that you stay in your car or in the shuttle until 5-10 minutes before the ceremony to keep warm. The hall will be inaccessible for guests until cocktail hour, following the ceremony.

How do I get to and from the ceremony?
Answer
There is plenty of parking outside of Sparrow Lane if you wish to drive yourself. If you plan on having one of our feature cocktails... or a few ;) there will also be shuttle service to and from the Fairfield by Marriott Edmonton International Airport. ***Please note all vehicles must be removed by 10:00 AM on December 8th 2024.*** We suggest if you are planning to take a cab or Uber home to take the shuttle back to the hotel and order from the hotel!

We ask that you refer to your invitation for details on plus ones or family members.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
We will be offering a buffet dinner, with a selection of meats, salads, Ukrainian dishes and desserts.

Will there be meal options for those with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer
Please speak directly with Ceanna for any concerns in regarding food allergies before September 31st, there will also be an area to include details within your RSVP.

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Please note that there will be a cash bar available at the wedding, with signature cocktails, coolers and canned and draft beer. There is an ATM onsite.

Do you have a registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! Should you wish to celebrate further, monetary gifts towards our honeymoon fund would be deeply appreciated. Alternatively, for those who prefer a registry, we have curated a selection of items that would enhance our new life together. Your generosity in any form is greatly appreciated.
