Formal attire is respectfully requested, with black-tie attire welcomed for those who wish. Formal attire includes long formal dresses or refined cocktail dresses. For the men, suits or tuxedos are most appropriate.
We have not reserved a room block for our wedding. For guests wishing to stay overnight, we have outlined a selection of nearby accommodations close to the War Memorial for your convenience. Some our favourite nearby hotels located in the heart of downtown Detroit include the Shinola Hotel, Hotel David Whitney, Detroit Foundation Hotel, and the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit.
Guests may reach the venue via I-75 North; however, for a quicker and more scenic route, we recommend taking East Jefferson Avenue. Simply turn right upon exiting the Detroit–Windsor Tunnel and continue straight for just under 20 minutes, passing historic waterfront estates from the Ford era along the way.
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who wish to give something further, we respectfully ask that you reach out to us prior to the wedding to arrange receipt of your gift in a way that is most convenient for you, in light of our travel across the border following the wedding.
