Camp Spiker Weekend Wedding in the Woods

We invite you to share with us an experience most adults don't get after childhood.. a weekend summer camp getaway with family and friends! In lieu of a traditional wedding venue we decided on a more personal and memorable celebration in the woods! We're taking over Christopher Creek Lodge nestled in-between the Tonto National Forest & the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest just outside of Payson, Arizona. The lodge is comprised of real log cabins, set in the middle of the forest, with the creek running right through the property. For over 60 years this historic lodge continues to be one of the most beautiful places in Arizona. From a farm to a boy scout camp and then becoming the lodge that it is today, the area has a rich history that we love! We can't wait to get out in nature & enjoy the fresh air with all of the people we care about!

Bradley & CeaJay met in September 2020 while working together at an agricultural company in rural Arizona. The relationship quickly went from coworkers to friends, then starting a family of their own.

On just another ordinary day, I said YES! 💍 Bradley took our little family hiking on Hieroglyphic Trail in the Superstition Mountains to go geocaching. Little did I know, he had made a special cache waiting for me to find.🌵 He filled the cache with mementos he had saved from our years together. He also created a handmade leather bound picture book containing so many of our past adventures. The last image in the book showed a tiny micro-cache which had also been placed in the metal cache box. Nervously, I unrolled the cache log & read the tiny printed letters that said “CeaJay, will you marry me?” I already had my answer to his proposal of marriage ready & handed him a note from my pocket. 🤍 Thank you for the happiness you bring our family, for loving us the way you do, for the dedication you have for us & for such a meaningful proposal. - CeaJay (Pictures included in the gallery)
