Our dress code is semi-formal; we are aiming for a timeless look- midi/full-length dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, dress pants, or suits—whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. We just want you to feel your beautiful self! ✨ Think polished but not overly fancy! The ceremony will be held in a park on the grass, so ladies, you may want to consider wedges, block heels, or flats for easier walking. We would love to keep the overall look soft and timeless, so we kindly ask guests to skip any bright or fluorescent colours.
The ceremony begins promptly at 3:30pm, we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to find the ceremony spot and settle in.
We will have a bus organized to pick up guests staying at Chateau Victoria to bring them to the ceremony. Bus will arrive at the hotel at 2:50pm. We also have a bus organized to pick guests up from the ceremony at 4:45pm to bring everyone to the reception for a 5:00pm party start! The reception is in the heart of downtown Victoria. Chateau Victoria is a 12 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride away, so you will be able to head out whenever you're ready and make your way back at your own pace.
The greatest gift you can give us is simply being there to celebrate. There’s truly no need to bring anything, but if you’d like to give something, a contribution toward our future together would be wonderful. Above all, having you with us on our special day is the greatest gift we could ever ask for.
